§ 1 General
Your personal data (e.g., title, name, address, email address, telephone number) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law and the data protection law of the European Union (EU). The following provisions inform you, in addition to the purposes of processing, recipients, legal bases, storage periods, about your rights and the person responsible for your data processing. This privacy policy applies only to our websites. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.
§ 2 Contact
(1) Purpose of processing
We process the personal data you provide to us by email, contact form, etc., to respond to and process your inquiries. You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. However, without providing your email address, we cannot respond to you via email.
(2) Legal bases
a) If you have given us express consent to process your data, Art. 6 para. 1a) GDPR is the legal basis for this processing.
b) If we process your data to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 para. 1b) GDPR is the legal basis.
c) In all other cases (especially when using a contact form), Art. 6 para. 1f) GDPR is the legal basis.
RIGHT TO OBJECT: You have the right to object to data processing based on Art. 6 para. 1f) GDPR and not serving direct marketing, for reasons arising from your particular situation, at any time. In the case of direct marketing, you can object to the processing without providing reasons at any time.
(3) Legitimate interest
Our legitimate interest in processing is to communicate with you quickly and inexpensively and to answer your inquiries. If you provide us with your address, we reserve the right to use it for postal direct marketing. You can preserve your interest in data protection by sparing data transfer (e.g., using a pseudonym).
(4) Recipient categories
Hosting providers, mailing service providers for direct marketing
(5) Storage duration
Your data will be deleted when it can be inferred from the circumstances that your inquiry or the relevant matter has been conclusively clarified. However, if a contract is concluded, the data required under commercial and tax law will be retained by us for the legally specified periods, i.e., regularly ten years (cf. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
(6) Right of revocation
In the case of processing based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time.
§ 3 Information about Cookies
(1) Purpose of processing
This website uses technically necessary cookies. These are small text files that are stored in or by your Internet browser on your computer system.
(2) Legal basis
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.
(3) Legitimate interest
Our legitimate interest is the functionality of our website. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles. This preserves your interest in data protection.
(4) Storage duration
Technically necessary cookies are usually deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies have different lifespans, ranging from several minutes to several years.
(5) RIGHT TO OBJECT
If you do not wish these cookies to be stored, please deactivate the acceptance of these cookies in your Internet browser. However, this may result in a functional restriction of our website. You can also delete permanently stored cookies at any time via your browser.
§ 4 Your Rights as a Data Subject
If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, and you have the following rights against us as the data controller:
Right to information: You can request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.
Right to rectification: If the data concerning you is incorrect, you have the right under Art. 16 GDPR to request the correction of this data. If your data is incomplete, you can request completion.
Right to erasure: Under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, you can request the deletion of your personal data.
Right to restriction of processing: Within the framework of the provisions of Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data.
Right to data portability: According to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another controller.
Right to revoke the data protection consent declaration: You have the right to revoke your data protection declaration of consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation is not affected by the revocation.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates the GDPR.
Please also note your right to object under Art. 21 GDPR:
a) General: Specific objection required If the processing of personal data concerning you
serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests (legal basis according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR) or
is carried out in the public interest (legal basis according to Art. 6 para. 1 e) GDPR),
you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions of the GDPR. If you object, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
b) Special case of direct marketing: Simple objection is sufficient If the personal data concerning you are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for these purposes.
